OverviewPosition Title: Head of Shared Services Strategy & Transformation
Location: Atlanta, GA, Burbank, CA, Knoxville, TN, or Warsaw, Poland
Reports to: EVP Head of Global Shared Services
General Summary: The Head of Shared Services Strategy & Transformation will hold a key leadership position
within the WBD multi-functional Shared Services Organization. This role will be responsible for
developing and implementing strategies to continuously improve the overall performance of the
Shared Services organization including focusing on the target operating model, continuous
improvement, analytics, and the transformation road map for all functions. This will include
creating a more efficient service delivery environment by driving and implementing processes
with potential for automation and enhancement opportunities and in certain cases will involve
working alongside outsourcing partners to drive the transformation.
Responsibilities ? Assume global accountability and the execution of the following areas for the Shares
Services organization:
o Process Excellence
o Service Requirements
o Service Design
o Service Transition
o Systems Management & Implementations
o Change Management & Communications
o Project Management Office (PMO) including portfolio management, project
management, and value case analysis
? Align best practices, tools, and technologies for the shared services organization
? Help lead M&A integration efforts for shared services as well as platform and process
migrations for legacy companies
? Help lead the implementation of the companys financial systems, platforms, and
applications into the Shared Services organization
? Provide monthly reports to key management, customers, and stakeholders
? Provide strong project governance, including overseeing the project delivery within time
and cost commitments
Qualifications? Bachelors degree in a related field (e.g. accounting, finance); Masters degree in a
related field (e.g. MBA) a plus
? Minimum of 10 years of experience in a large multinational corporation with at least part
of that time working in a global shared services organization
? Experience in project management and process improvement (e.g. Lean Process
Improvement, Six Sigma, etc.); PMP a plus
? Experience in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and experience
working in a SOX compliant environment
? Experience managing teams across various locations
? Attention to detail and accuracy as well as strong organizational skills
? Results oriented mindset with a drive to achieve objectives
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills with all levels of stakeholders
? Ability to assess and measure impact and to prioritize accordingly
? Proven ability to build confidence and trust with internal and external constituencies and
history of providing excellent customer service
? Strong management, training, and development experience and skills
? Demonstrated ability to contribute to a culture of excellence, integrity, and accountability
? Strong project management skills, with the ability to proactively manage a variety of
projects and timelines; demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, and an ability to manage
multiple assignments and deliverables
? Experience with SAP accounting systems and implementations
? Willingness and ability to travel
