The Board of Pensions of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) in Philadelphia is seeking a Graphic Design Specialist to create print and digital collateral that informs and engages audiences while supporting organizational goals.

What you will do:

  • Translate strategic objectives into high-quality designs within brand identity for a variety of print and digital media, including brochures, newsletters, mailers, infographics, and presentations.
  • Develop accessible, inclusive designs from creative briefs and executes through all phases, from creative concepting to production.
  • Work with Marketing and Communications team to define requirements and timelines to ensure project goals are met.
  • Collaborate in a cross-functional environment during review process and incorporate feedback from various stakeholders.
  • Work with and manage freelance designers as needed.
  • Update and maintain files in an organized structure and within digital asset management system.

What you need to succeed in the role:

  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex ideas into visual communications for multiple forms of media.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop designs that ensure content is understood and relatable to the needs and interests of diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in all phases of design development, including print production and file preparation.
  • Understanding of multi-channel branding across digital and print media.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), PowerPoint, and digital asset management systems.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with clients, members, senior management, and vendors.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills for meeting timelines.
  • Flexible with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive within a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
  • Stays current with emerging technologies and maintains professional-level expertise via seminars, literature, and formal training.
  • Ability to understand the Benefits Plan of the Presbyterian church (U.S.A.) and the nature and expectation of the membership with the capability to translate this understanding into working knowledge of projects and deliverables.
