Grants Analyst - $69,456.00 - $97,260.00
The purpose of this position is to perform tasks primarily related to operating and capital funding opportunities and Capital Improvement support activities as well as performing administrative tasks in support of senior analysts. This is accomplished by preparing financial status reports/milestone reports as required to meet grant records requirements, maintaining data in the appropriate database for recording purposes, and appropriate creation, assignment, and monitoring of labor billing codes.
Senior Grants Analyst - $83,220.00 - $116,556.00
The purpose of this position is to monitor, reconcile, report and analyze financial data related to capital project funding for both construction and non-construction projects. This is accomplished by maintaining and recording capital funding in computerized systems, monitoring and reconciliation of capital project funds, preparing grant applications and other reports as required, preparing annual capital budget and capital program update, and supporting project managers with respect to providing information and planning the use of grant funding for Capital Projects. Other duties include forecasting, training staff, audit support and researching and identifying funding opportunities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A combination of education and/or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the position. SacRT reserves the right to determine the equivalences of education and experience.
Grants Analyst
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Public Administration or a closely related field.
Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of experience in grant preparation, research, program organization, or grant related financial support functions.
Senior Grants Analyst
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration or a closely related field.
Experience: A minimum of four (4) years of financial analysis, project accounting or grant accounting experience. Capital accounting and/or grant accounting experience with a public or transit agency is preferred.
Proof of required education beyond high school, such as college transcripts, diplomas, and/or certificates must be submitted at the time of application, if not substituting experience for the education requirement.
