Let's do this. Let's change the world. During this program, you will work in a group that is responsible for project management/planning of Medical Congress meetings and other external Medical engagements. The group also manages budgets for the Global Medical teams and processes Sponsorship and Independent Medical Education (IME) applications. This opportunity to join as a Summer Intern will allow you to hone in on your process development and process improvement skills as we seek to establish new processes and supporting documentation to stand-up a hybrid Congress model as well and document the process for IME.
  • Meet with key subject matter experts to understand the current processes
  • Interview stakeholders and project Sponsor
  • Develop a Project Plan with timelines and key deliverables
  • Document processes and develop training slides
  • Establish communication plan
  • Roll-out processes

Basic Qualifications

Amgen requires that all individuals applying for a grad internship or a co-op assignment at Amgen must meet the following criteria:

18 years or older

Graduated with a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a 3.0 minimum GPA or equivalent

Currently enrolled in a Master's program for a Master's internship OR PhD for a PhD internship from an accredited college or university and completion of the first year of Master's OR PhD program before internship starts

Enrolled in an accredited college or university following the potential internship or co-op assignment

Must not be employed at the time the internship starts

Preferred Qualifications

Degree concentration(s) in Business, Organizational Psychology, or related fields

Understanding of/experience with Project Management & process development principles.
