We are looking for a Marketing Manager for our Fire Service market! While reporting to the Fire Service Segment Manager, NNA, the successful incumbent will focus on all customer facing marketing activities for their products and markets, including: developing go-to-market strategies to generate demand, supporting MSA sales managers and channel partners, and driving digital and social media marketing communications initiatives. This role will require an understanding of the various customer personas in the Fire Service market, the complete buying cycle, and key customer pain points to create powerful and differentiated solutions for customers. Responsibilities

  • Keep a real-time pulse on market conditions, competitive activities, industry and technology trends, market size and share, as well as market growth rates, through market research and data analysis.
  • Provide market and data analysis in a manner that enables the organization to act.
  • Determine key marketing collateral investment within assigned products.
  • Monitor business success through clear Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and adjust tactics or initiatives to improve performance as needed.
  • Use regional input gathered through market research and the regional steering team process to develop, drive and maintain the strategy for the NNA (Northern North America) fire service market segment.
  • Maintain responsibility for Cairns Fire Helmets products.
  • Serve as an advocate for our customers.


Qualifications

Special Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Required:

  • Demonstrated ability to acquire and understand customer needs and to translate those needs into differentiated solutions; and to communicate those needs throughout the organization.
  • Proven ability to understand evolving technology as a source for customer solutions and competitive advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Exemplary communication, organizational, critical thinking, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and SAP.
  • Up to 25% domestic/international travel.

Special Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Preferred:

  • Knowledge of MSA or competitive Fire Service products

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelors Degree in business, marketing, engineering or related discipline
  • This position is available at three different career levels based upon experience and education
    • Level one: at least 4 years of marketing, sales, or product development
    • Level two: at least 5 years of marketing, sales, or product development
    • Level three: at least 7 years of marketing, sales, or product development
      o MBA may be substituted for up to 2 years of relevant experience

Education and Experience Preferred:

  • MBA
  • Experience with the U.S. and Canadian fire service markets.
