Summary: Sevan is searching for an engaged and organized Facilities Manager to join our team onsite at Hunter Army Airfield. In this role, you will manage our overall Change of Occupancy Maintenance (COM) operation and client interface. You will also have oversight of General Maintenance Associates, Flooring, Painting and Cleaning Technicians and ensure the team members in the field complete COM work in accordance with time and quality expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Day to day oversight of maintenance team members: Maintain a close and highly responsive relationship to the day-to-day activities of the technicians, subcontractors, and coordinators to facilitate the service and COM requirements at FT Gordon. Adjust technician's schedules as needed to complete all work requests in a timely manner.
  • Quality Control Activities and Subcontractor verification: Perform Quality Control checks throughout the COM process for technician and subcontracted work to ensure time and quality expectations are met.
  • COM Coordination: COM Coordination includes scope and identify tasks required for COM including estimating time and cost to complete repairs, coordinating contractor work and change order management.
  • Work collaboratively in small teams to improve the operations of immediate work group by offering ideas, identifying issues, and respecting team members
  • Provide a high level of customer service and resolve service issues in a timely and respectful manner.
  • Work requires close attention to task for work to be accurately completed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in an accredited program within Facility Management preferred.
  • 2 - 5 years facilities or maintenance experience required.1 - 2 years management experience preferred.
  • Must have demonstrated skills or experience in general maintenance or construction. Carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC or appliance competencies or certifications preferred.
  • A current vehicle license in good standing and meet the driving records standards outlined in the Company Safe Vehicular Operations Policy.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and other environmental regulations, OSHA 30 certificate.
