POSITION SUMMARY
This role will be primarily responsible for tooling, shop aid design, manufacturability reviews with customers, and will manage continuous improvement principals by highlighting deficiencies and recommending changes in training, working practices and processes.
TASKS
Support both the Sales and Operations teams by:
Reviewing new molded part designs with customers
Developing associated tooling, manufacturing processes and controls
Identifying and implementing process improvements
Identifying and designing tooling, production equipment, assembly methods to reduce production costs
Determining root cause of failures and recommend changes in designs, tolerances, or processing methods
Reviewing product designs for manufacturability or completeness
Preparing documentation for new manufacturing processes or engineering procedures
Training production personnel in new or existing methods
Requirements:

Deliver and implement new products through new manufacturing methods and tooling

Analytical thinker with ability to problem solve and predict challenges
EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND CERTIFICATIONS
BS in Engineering, or equivalent experience
7-10 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment
Advanced experience and skills using SolidWorks
Experience with other model-based manufacturing and design software such as Enovia, MasterCAM and Catia desired
Ability to present data effectively
Experience with 3D printing
Ability to work independently in a dynamic work environment

Our Total Compensation Package is Beyond the Industry Average and includes the following:
Compensation range is $65-95k annually, depending on experience
