Discovery is recruiting for Marketing CRM Executive to join its Central Retention Marketing. The role will be working on Discoverys flagship product discovery+, a direct-to-consumer video subscription service rolling out globally.

The successful applicant will work closely with the local marketing teams to steer, plan and execute CRM marketing campaigns across multiple channels; including email, push and in-app messaging. The campaigns will be designed to engage, retain, winback and up-sell customers for new entertainment shows, major sporting events and strategic lifecycle campaigns.

The Marketing CRM Executive will work within a broader global marketing team and be expected to work across all EMEA markets at times. However, the candidate will initially have a specific focus on the UK and Nordic markets


  • Work with the local marketing teams to plan the CRM calendar and be the CRM Expert for that market.
  • Build and execute all CRM marketing campaigns.
  • Work with the CRM Analytics Manager to track performance and develop reports for business stakeholders across all activity to ensure it overachieves against KPIs.
  • Pro-actively suggest ways to optimise our CRM marketing campaigns through A/B and multivariate testing with the key objective of increasing the incremental impact of our campaigns.
  • Maintain awareness of marketing & industry trends, best practices and technologies.


Required skills
  • 2+ years CRM Marketing experience, ideally with exposure to subscriber business models.
  • Strong understanding of CRM fundamentals and best practices: Creative, Segmentation, Analytics
  • Experience with CRM tools that are used to build and report on campaigns.
  • Self-starter, highly motivated, positive demeanor, excellent communicator, and able to juggle multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Able to build strong relationships with different teams around the world.
  • High-level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Fluent English in both written and verbal forms
  • Fluent German in both written and verbal forms

Preferable / Nice-to-have skills
  • Experience using Blueshift as a CRM tool
  • HTML Experience
  • Adobe Photoshop Competency
