The Hinkle Library is seeking candidates for its E-Resources Librarian position. Reporting to the Library Director, this position will ensure continuous access to library resources, troubleshoot access issues in a timely fashion and will learn to serve as the system administrator for core library systems including Ex Libris' Alma/Primo.
Job Description:
Will serve as system administrator for Alma/Primo integrated library services platform and liaise with Ex Libris on updates and customization needed to the system.
Will manage data integrity on Alma including record management and link resolver functionality.
Will function as first-line support of technical and systems related issues as they pertain to patrons' access to the library's resources.
Engages in professional development and stays abreast of developments in the field of e-resource access and management of library systems.
Responsibilities may also include library instruction, collection development, and participation in University Service and college life.
Serves shifts on the library reference desk.
This is an on-campus, face-to-face position.

Required: Master's in Library Science or Master's in Library Information Science
General experience with administration and management of Integrated Library Systems (ILS).
Experience supporting and working in web-based content management, preferably LibGuides.
Knowledge of best practices in metadata & cataloging standards and e-resources management.
Strong customer service orientation.
Proficient written and spoken communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
