In this role, you will work in direct partnership with CPMO to define and continue to fine-tune agile methodologies and ceremonies. You will also help to define and drive processes for the TPM community. Maintain the global tech roadmap through quarterly planning and change management, and will help to create and drive best practices for the full technical program management community in global tech to ensure there is a single source of truth for tracking, measuring and reporting program progress and status.

You will lead the Jira team and collaborate on strategic direction and help prioritize and define requirements for Jira initiatives.

Further role Responsibilities & Requirements include:

  • Lead a team of administrators and support staff with a clear mission.
  • Jira administration, architecture, and operations.
  • Understanding of the PDLC and how Atlassian tools fit into the delivery pipeline.
  • Experience gathering requirements from stakeholders and adapting those into the technical workings of the toolset.
  • Employing the unique talents & interests of each team member in fulfilling our mission.
  • Passion for solving complex technical challenges.
  • Proficiency with Atlassian data structures & analytics.
  • Proficiency with SQL databases & queries, joining to other data sources, Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) operations.
  • Proficiency with APIs & Python scripting for automation & reporting.
  • Experience writing code within ScriptLead a team of Jira experts who consult, architect, customize, analyze, develop, report, troubleshoot, streamline, and support users within the Atlassian applications and related integrations within the PDLC pipeline.
  • Consult on and deliver Jira reporting that enables data-driven decisions.
  • Perform deep delivery data analysis into release quality, project progress & forecasts, team velocity & capacity, Jira data quality, and more. Identify effective & ineffective behaviors, bottlenecks, context switching, hand-offs, dependencies, etc.
  • Assist with Jira support requests, automation, and custom solutions.
  • Coordinate Atlassian governance & strategy activities to ensure our configuration is aligned with organizational structure & processes.
  • Ensure changes within systems are communicated & documented appropriately as well as thoughtfully & democratically applied.
  • Assist with Jira standardization efforts to enable easier collaboration, smoother flow, increased visibility, simpler administration, and to facilitate deeper data analysis.
  • Collaborate on Atlassian special projects such as rollout of new features, migrations, integrations, system maintenance, reporting, and more.
  • Scale & socialize approved & effective delivery practices across global teams.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement through mentoring, feedback, and metrics.
  • Establish all operational metrics and support for the programs.
  • Report on the status of development, quality, operations, and system performance to the senior tech leadership team and above.
  • Consistently bring strong, data-driven business and technical judgment to decisions.
  • Responsible for creating dashboards / reports to share key program updates for stakeholders and leadership
  • Business acumen sufficient to:
    • Quickly absorb the intricacies of our departments and processes.
    • Recommend improvements that will help the company be more efficient and successful.


  • Strong experience in Runner, Structure & eazyBI to provide real-time metrics & app functionality.
  • Strong people leadership experience, including talent selection, engagement, growth and retention.
  • Able to work across multiple resources and orchestrate multiple activities with speed and agility.
  • Ability to develop short term and long term process improvement plans.
  • Able to dive deeply into both technical details and business needs.
  • Experience working with engineering teams to deliver products keeping iterative success as a mindset.
  • Strong analytical and big picture capabilities in problem solving.
  • Highly skilled in working in a global environment, both with colleagues across multiple time zones and countries as well as delivering products and services on a truly global scale.
  • An appreciation of cultural differences between regions and countries, always striving to deliver the best possible services for customers within the global product portfolio.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles that will be performed in New York City. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Warner Bros. Discoverys total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $173,943 -$323,037 salary per year.

Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
