Overview

This position plays an integral role in the development of Warner Bros. Discoverys financial systems and other finance change initiatives. The holder will perform PMO roles falling under the scope of Program Director, Relationship Manager and Change Management Champion acting as the single point of contact between IT and finance functional workstreams.

The position will demand a high degree of collaboration and partnership across the entire finance community globally. Strong planning, project management and problem-solving skills are critical, as well as sound analytical, communication, and people management skills. The position provides stakeholders with communication, education and organization design leadership with effectiveness measured via organizational adoption of technology enabled business change.

This position will also facilitate status calls, coordinate resources, and assist in prioritization of activities and resource allocation across projects and operational activities. The role is an important member of the overall PMO leadership team and is critical to the overall delivery of key projects.

The successful holder of this position will have a broad background including experience in organizational change management, finance/accounting and implementing global process and systems initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Supports overall Program Management efforts across M&A or other software initiatives
  • Develops complete & thorough project plans and associated communication documents
  • Provides effective project reporting and communication throughout the project lifecycle to stakeholders and program leadership
  • Monitors cross project/workstream dependencies and works with teams to ensure individual work plans account for these
  • Monitors and analyzes project risks, issues, progress, and performance and recommends/implements corrective actions as necessary
  • Supports the strategy, development and delivery of integrated Program Communications ensuring all project areas are synchronized and providing consistent cohesive messaging
  • Supports coordination with diverse group of business, technical and finance teams to develop, design and execute wholistic program communications
  • Works closely with cross functional teams, to ensure consistent program execution/delivery
  • Communicates with and influence key stakeholders within the business to ensure a mutual understanding of key objectives and priorities
  • Supports business process owners with organizational change management efforts throughout the lifecycle to design and transition to new organizational functions that best enable use of new technology and processes in a synchronized manner
  • Assess, prioritize, and escalate issues as necessary

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in finance, with emphasis in organizational change management, information systems or project management
  • 7+ years' broad finance experience, preferably in implementation of finance change initiatives with a focus on stakeholder management, organizational alignment, communications strategy, business readiness and job role mapping
  • Previous experience with full-life cycle enterprise resource planning software implementation including project management, technical and functional requirements, system design, implementation, data migration, testing, training, go-live support, and issue resolution
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Exceptional relationship management with the ability to collaborate and lead remote/virtual teams
  • Experience in large group facilitation of workshops
  • Strong level of understanding of transition/change management concepts,
    organizational design and developing and executing communications strategies
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including highly refined public speaking skills to enable managing challenging public situations effectively
