POSITION SUMMARY



The PACE LIFE RN Director of Operations overseas, and manages the daily operations of the LIFE Connection Program including operations of the day care center(s), transportation, social work, behavioral wellness, recreation and dietary practices and roles.. Ensures that the needs of the participants are met and fulfills responsibility for maintaining quality and assurance of standards through sound management practices and effective utilization of resources. This includes ensuring that appropriate personnel are trained and perform their functions within the organizational and operational service standards and budgetary criteria guidelines and operations are in compliance with all governing regulations. This position may also assume the Executive Director's responsibility in his/her absence.



Participates in selecting outside sources for needed resources. Collaborates with Executive Director and other members LIFE Connection leadership for regular review of contracts and affiliation agreements and participates in identifying and negotiating for additional needed services.



Recommends physical space and other resources needed by department. Supports the Medical Director and Director of Clinical Services to assure the operations of the Health Center, including staffing and scheduling of preventive health maintenance, episodic primary care, scheduled assessments and reassessments, handling of emergencies, etc. effectively meet participant needs.



Leads Emergency preparedness and planning efforts from an operational and regulatory perspective. Participates in Administrative on call rotation.
This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to team work and cooperation.



QUALIFICATIONS



EDUCATION: Master's Degree in related field.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: Valid Driver's License, Registration and Insurance are required.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5 years' experience in a clinical leadership role required.
Minimum 1 year experience, working with the elderly. Proficiency in Clinical Applications preferred at time of hire; incumbents within position will be trained appropriately and then skill will be required for this position within 30-60 days from date of hire.



PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
Demonstrates the competencies as established on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool for this position.



WORK ENVIRONMENT
This positon must be able to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team model, interfacing and collaborating with a wide range of clinical and social services disciplines who work together to manage the PACE participants' care. The work setting is in an Adult Day Health Center and primary care clinic environment with moderate noise levels and controlled temperatures.



This position also requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Incumbents must be able to communicate with all staff, vendors, and clients. Requires manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination; the ability to use department equipment. This position also requires lifting/carrying up to 65lbs.and pushing or pulling 150lbs.using appropriate body mechanics and equipment, with reasonable accommodation if needed.



REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
This positions reports to department leadership and supervises incumbents as assigned.
