Job Summary:

Direct Support Professionals provide direct support in activities of daily living, as outlined in individuals Person Centered Plans. This position is responsible for on-site coordination of active treatment in a group home setting or in a consumers private residence, serving individuals with physical, cognitive and/or behavioral disabilities. Spectrum Community Services is an affiliate of Spectrum Human Services.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A valid unrestricted Michigan Driver's license (some exceptions may apply)
• Three references deemed acceptable to Spectrum
• Experience working with people with disabilities (preferred but not required)
• Selected candidates must successfully complete a comprehensive background check including fingerprinting, medical clearance (TB test, drug screen & physical), MVR clearance and DHHS clearance.

Job Characteristics:

• Full-time and Part-time positions available
• Flexible Schedules; Days, Evenings, Overnights
• Paid Trainings including CPR/FA Certification
• $11.00/hr. to start, more with experience
• COVID-19 Premium Pay Increase of $2/hr. (state funded and paid through the end of February 2021)
• Some weekend shifts required
