Corporate Credit Analyst

Job Description:

This important role is responsible for the extension of credit and telephone collection of accounts receivable in accordance with company policy. The Corporate Credit Analyst works with The Director of Credit, and Regional Credit Managers to complete assigned tasks and ensure prompt response to customer service requests. This position contacts customers with past due accounts by telephone to request payment and maintains accounts receivable notes in our ERP system, while documenting all customer contacts.

The Corporate Credit Analyst works with the sales department to strengthen customer relations while at the same time meeting sales and profit goals. An assertive person who enjoys working with internal and external customers is ideal for this position.

Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or equivalent and have 2-4 years' of experience in a credit department with working knowledge of collections and credit policies and procedures; or an equivalent combination of education and experience which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the above-described essential functions.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• This position is ideal for someone who is assertive and knows how to balance internal and external customer needs.
• Must be detail oriented, able to multi-task, prioritize, and is self-motivated.
• Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Power Point.
