Request for Proposals: Institutionalization of integrated Community Case Management (iCCM) Toolkit Development

Department: PMI Impact Malaria

Based: Washington, DC or Remote

PMI Impact Malaria is helping national malaria control programs tackle malaria service delivery challenges by working to:
  • Close the gaps in malaria diagnosis and treatment to get the right medicine, with the correct diagnosis, to patients in need, in the timeliest manner.
  • Unlock the potential of key drug-based prevention approaches by helping countries introduce, implement, and scale-up proven interventions.

Contractor Responsibilities

The contractor will work with IM, PMI/USAID, the Child Health Task Force (CHTF), and relevant partners to develop a toolkit to support country governments and key stakeholders to institutionalize iCCM programs.
  • Conduct a landscaping of existing tools that address institutionalization of iCCM at global and country level for each system component
  • Perform critical analysis of existing iCCM tools and identify gaps in available tools that are needed to support institutionalization each system component
  • Conduct a webinar to present the final toolkit to key stakeholders via the CHTF Institutionalizing iCCM subgroup

Contract Timeline

This assignment will start as soon as possible and require approximately six months of full-time level of effort from completion of the subcontract until submission of the final deliverables.

Qualifications
  • Technical lead with master's degree or higher in public health, health policy, epidemiology, or related field
  • A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in international public health, with a focus on sub-Saharan Africa
  • Experience with USAID/PMI-funded projects preferred
  • Preference for US registered small or woman-owned businesses
