The Division of Minimally Invasive Surgery within the Department of Surgery is seeking a qualified Clinical Trial Research Professional. This health professional position will manage multiple studies in a rapidly growing clinical trials program. The incumbent will be involved in all phases of investigator-initiated clinical trials from inception to the final report. The primary duties of this position include the following: -providing logistical as well as some scientific consultation during the study design phase - identifying required regulatory approvals and coordinating submission to offices and agencies that oversee such research (e.g. FDA} - recruiting, tracking, and managing research subjects - collecting and entering research data - and assisting with budget development and tracking expenditures and being involved with drafting and editing research reports. The incumbent should be highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize multiple projects while working independently. Sound judgment, strong organizational skills, and exceptional interpersonal skills are a must.
Master's degree with three to five years of experience required, or relevant years of experience may be substituted for advanced degree. Prior experience with Clinical Trials.
