CRJ is a unique, 140 year old Boston-based nonprofit organization that provides direct care as well as research/consulting services within the areas of the Mental Health and the Criminial Justice field. Our three divisions, Social Justice Services, Community Strategies, and the Crime and Justice Institute are recognized for their effectiveness and contributions to this important work.

Within Community Stategies (CS) we support men and women with intellectual and developmental disabilities. CS provides specialized services from Day Programs, Shared Living arrangements with providers as well as over 40 community-based group homes. As we aim on expanding our workforce as well as services to our clients we are hiring a Clinical Director to be responsible for supervising the delivery of clinical services to the individuals receiving supports from Community Strategies.

Responsibilities

The Clinical Director will have the overall clinical supervisory role for the delivery of clinical services to the individuals receiving supports from Community Strategies (CS).

Responsibilities:

  • Hire, supervise and direct the performance of clinical staff.
  • Develop and implement Clinical Policies and Procedures in accordance with evidence-based practice and regulatory compliance.
  • Participate as a member of the CS Management team.
  • Represent CRJ/CS in meetings with stakeholders, including funders, families, guardians, regulatory and review committees and agencies.
  • Participate in CRJ inter-departmental initiatives as directed by supervisor.
  • Participate in the planning and implementation of new program development.
  • Oversee clinical assessment of potential new individuals into care and internal transfers between programs.
  • Participate on treatment teams, as needed for individuals with complex clinical needs.
  • Oversees the participation of clinical staff in meetings with stakeholders and the development of clinical reports for oversight agencies.
  • Enhance career development through workshop attendance, seminars, and courses.
  • Provide training to CS clinical staff and operations staff on relevant clinical issues.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.



Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Psychology or Social Work or related field, required
  • Clinical License LICSW, LMHC, BCBA
  • Experience supervising and managing Masters Level Clinical Staff. (Required minimum of 2 years)
  • Substance abuse counseling experience, minimum of two (4) years, required.
  • Fundamental knowledge of substance abuse and its treatment required.
  • Familiarity with MA DPH/BSAS regulations required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. (Word, Excel, Outlook, SecureManage)
  • Ability to work with a diverse population required.
  • Valid driver's license and Reliable Transportation
  • Bilingual, especially English/Spanish preferred.
