About The Role

We are seeking a Client Relationship Manager to join our team in Denver, Colorado.

RMB Wealth Management provides holistic financial planning services as well as asset allocation recommendations and investment implementation for high-net-worth individuals and families. Its goal is to pilot a personalized financial plan designed with each clients best interests, unique needs, and long-term objectives in mind.


Responsibilities

  • Support Retirement Plan Solutions (RPS)
  • team by managing ongoing client relationships in a manner that ensures client success, satisfaction, and loyalty.
  • Understand and be able to communicate complex retirement plan concepts to plan administrators or plan fiduciary committees.
  • Assist team with new business development efforts including preparing proposals and being involved with presenting at prospect meetings.
  • Create and manage client service strategy, schedule client committee meetings, collaborate with service providers to gather information, prepare quarterly reporting, attend committee meetings, manage any follow up items, and develop and execute a participant education strategy.
  • Present at group participant education meetings and meet with individual participants to provide planning and investment advice.
  • Coordinate RPS prospect events and manage marketing campaigns with a focus on attracting new business.
  • Attends vendor meetings, industry events and conferences.
  • Continue to grow professionally and attend industry conference calls and attend industry conferences / workshops to help ensure your knowledge of retirement plan regulations and best practices stays current.
  • Collaborates with other RMB Business units and special operational projects as necessary.
  • Some overnight travel may be required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a retirement plan service-related capacity with increasing responsibilities.
  • Retirement industry related credentials preferred (QPFC, QKA, QPA, CPC, AIF, etc.)
  • Experience working with Retirement Plan Advisory Group (RPAG) or similar practice management platform preferred.
  • Working knowledge of ERISA and the retirement plan industry.
  • Ability to read, interpret and apply retirement plan document provisions.
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite with ability to adapt to new computer systems quickly and efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to prioritize multiple projects.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit, dedication to the retirement plan industry and passion to serve clients.
