Cima designs, fabricates and installs experiential branded environments. We produce a range of architectural signage, lighting and environmental graphics for projects ranging from national brand roll-outs to highly creative specialized projects.

Cima is seeking an Inside Sales/ Client Development Specialist to initiate, coordinate, manage and track national account prospects through Cima's 'top of mind' strategy and the lead generation cycle. The role is directly responsible for contacting and progressing leads through the sales funnel with a focus on particular market opportunities. This is a pivotal role in our goal to increase revenue streams with expanded products, services and brand building solutions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Aggressively and efficiently grow and maintain sales pipeline by articulating Cima's abilities and value proposition to the right prospects, in the right markets, with the right business opportunity.
  • Identify new prospects, establish initial contact to generate interest for new sales opportunities and progressively work through the relationship building process (top of mind) to position Cima when the customer has a buying need.
  • Meet or exceed all metrics for customer contact and sales within an agreed time frame by prospecting; qualifying; and positioning.
  • Compile activity & pipeline reports and keep reports and CRM updated with current information. Keep track of customer's portfolios and needs in a database.
  • Collaborate with close and report customer needs, customer budgets (as known), any problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services that assist in the close
  • Assist with administrative tasks for RFI, RFPs and other sales related activities as directed
  • Research & monitor industry trends, promotions, and best practices to understand the market & options available for clientele.
  • Work to become a knowledgeable expert on all of the products and services we provide.
  • Work the sales process with a high volume of cold and warm calls, lead generation and research, and follow up calls.
  • Research Customer's needs to provide the best individualized signage solutions by managing customer database
  • Collaborate with Marketing department to maximize efforts and target campaigns though other touch points
  • Attend tradeshows and other events that help progress prospects through the sales funnel process.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as necessary and assigned by Sales Leadership



QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in a Business, Marketing or similar field preferred
  • Strong administration skills and attention to detail
  • One to two years, business to business sales.
  • One to two years successfully meeting and/or exceeding sales quotas
  • Experience selling to large, complex organizations having multiple influencers/stakeholders involved in the decision a plus.
  • Experience selling complex new-build and/or building improvement solutions in one or more of signage, lighting, building construction, building maintenance, etc a plus
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
  • Must be available to travel and work non-traditional hours as needed
