BHE GT&S has an exciting opportunity in our Compression Servies team as a Business Systems Analyst 1 or Business Systems Analyst 2 located out of our Bridgeport, WV, Delmont, PA or Sabinsville, PA offices.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Business Systems Analyst 1 or Business Systems Analyst 2, commensurate on your skills, you will
- Assist in providing technical support for data acquisition, reporting systems, and/or GIS systems to operations and end users.
- Assist in performing system design work, testing, debugging, and maintaining complex system programs.
- Create, edit, analyze, and manage data.
- Assist in maintaining and supporting specialized computer and data systems.
- Learn to design processes for data collection and data integration.
- Assist in integrating data from multiple sources into databases and systems.
- Maintain and support complex maintenance management systems.
- Conduct data analysis to identify the root causes of issues.
- Provide detailed data and reports.
- ?Assist in identifying opportunities to apply technologies to business processes through researching and fact-finding.
- Role is established in the Information Technology function.
- Analyze business and user needs documents requirements and revise existing system logic difficulties as necessary under direction of experienced Business System Analysts.
- Work with an individual business unit on specific project assignments. Work is closely checked, and errors may cause minor delay or expense
- Perform other duties as requested or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
?Business Systems Analyst 1- 0-2 years directly related experience.
- Knowledge of related applications and databases.
- Proficiency in programming and or other information technology disciplines.
- If supporting GIS systems, knowledge of Geographic Information Systems.
- Strong computer skills. Demonstrated competency in logical and analytical thinking.
- Ability to perform in-depth data analysis.
- Ability to diagnose and offer guidance on hardware, network and data issues and/or questions.
- Conceptual thinking and reasoning abilities.
- Ability to collect accurate data, analyze problems, and develop solutions.
Business Systems Analyst 2
- At least 3 years directly related experience.
- Experience in the adaptation to, and the application of, rapidly changing technology based to business needs.
- Full knowledge of related applications and databases.
- Proficiency in programming and/or other information technology disciplines.
- If supporting GIS systems, knowledge of Geographic Information Systems.
- Strong computer skills.
- Demonstrated competency in logical and analytical thinking.
- Ability to perform in-depth data analysis.
- Ability to diagnose and offer guidance on hardware, network, and data issues.
- Conceptual thinking and reasoning abilities.
- Ability to collect accurate data, analyze problems, and develop solutions
- Concern for quality, high standards, teamwork, and safety.
- Ability to work independently.
EducationBachelor (Typically four years of related, progressive work experience would be needed for candidates applying for this position who do not possess a bachelor's degree.)
