Job Description:

The Business Process Analyst is responsible for facilitating the NYUAD data-driven outreach strategy and driving resolutions to issues impacting service delivery. The Business Process Analyst coordinates with internal and external stakeholders to adapt and evolve implementation policy and procedures (including but not limited to service delivery design, outreach planning, data management, social media, onboarding and offboarding). The Business Process Analyst produces a quarterly analysis of program deliverables to the program manager and provides data driven support to the internal NYUAD team. All data management including historical analysis, systems use, and monitoring are maintained by the Business Process Analyst.

Essential Functions:

  • Coordinates cross-functional processes for NYUAD. Identifies processes, creates process maps, convenes stakeholders, discusses tasks and responsibilities, and executes procedures.
  • Coordinates with Outreach team in order to meet program deliverables and respond to implementation challenges.
  • Coordinates operational improvements through collaboration with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Identifies and evaluates potential risks/obstacles to processes and determines appropriate corrective action.
  • Develops tools for data management, communication practices, process implementation, and data-informed decision making.
  • Produces structures, documents and creates training around practices and policies of processes per program, coordinates NYUAD knowledge management initiatives.
  • Collaborates with program Manager and Director to understand client expectations and requirements.
  • Builds and arranges all data and reporting for internal and external stakeholders. Consults with NYU counterparts and IIE internally to develop improved solutions.


The Institute of International Education ("IIE") has a hybrid work environment that allows team members a combination of in-office work and telework at any of the locations listed above.

Job Requirements:

Education and Work Experience:

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in order to apply a working knowledge of the theories and principles in a specialized field or work discipline.
  • Requires at least two years of related work experience.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Demonstrated ability to think quantitatively and qualitatively about operating processes and outcomes.
  • Proven experience in identifying opportunities for business/process improvement, and defining and measuring the success of those initiatives.
  • Process visualization and dashboard development experience preferred.
  • Intermediate proficiency in IIE core systems, Excel and relational databases.
