Business Manager US and Bermuda

Main Purpose:
As a member of the US Exco, this is a key leadership role driving the US strategy through its planned growth. This role will be responsible for linking the leadership team including CEO, CFO, COO, General Counsel/CRO and the broader organization while connecting workstreams that could remain siloed.
The individual in this role is a high visibility strategic partner and thought leader that leads the coordination and strategic alignment of diverse business functions. The role operates at a tactical, strategic & operational level handling the oversight of projects do not neatly fit within the organizational chart or that fall between departments of leadership areas of responsibility.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning
- Collaborate with executive team members (CEO, CFO, COO, General Counsel/CRO)to determine and prioritize strategies objectives for the business.
- Monitor for and identify priorities that require senior leadership focus.
- Create structure and focus for broad, ambiguous ideas that executive team is exploring and bring forth recommendations as appropriate.
Tactical Execution and Change Management
- Lead and initiate change throughout the organization.
- Oversee strategic business initiatives from development through successful execution under the guidance of senior leadership and departmental heads.
- Assist and communicate with executives in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation.
- Drive execution of action items and top priorities agreed upon by the CEO and Executive team.
- Work with project managers to determine critical project milestones and the resources required to achieve those milestones
- Analyze & report operational improvements based on strategies implemented
Organizational Alignment and Effectiveness
- Collaborate with leadership team and other parts of the organization to track, analyze and report performance as needed
- Work with the business department leads to ensure the business support occurs when needed by the project or operations team
- Review, design, and execute on improvements to org structure, find knowledge and skills gaps and help address them
Special Projects and Business Development as necessary
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum 7 to 10 years experience in Insurance industry.
- Strong skills in:

- Demonstrated drive for results
