JOB SUMMARY: Assist the Operations Manager, VP Operations, COO, VP Controller and/or CFO with the overall day to day administration and support of bank operations areas and activities including but not limited to: Deposit, Loan, and Customer Information System (CIS). Emphasis would be on creating and analyzing core and custom reports to assist in daily core banking operation functions, including ACH operations, remote deposit operations, credit card portfolio and Internet banking. Further emphasis would be placed on specifically assigned tasks with the operations team.

Ensures compliance with all Bank policies and procedures. Works in accordance with organization's values.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide operational expertise in the following areas: Deposit, Loan, Customer Information System (CIS), Accounting Operations, and Teller Operations.
  • Balance general ledger and internal deposit accounts daily.
  • Produce and monitor daily reports needed for daily bank core operations.
  • Process incoming and outgoing wires, both foreign and domestic.
  • Perform all functions of Fedline, including but not limited to OFAC, wires, ACH returns, daily cash position.
  • Responsible for procedural changes in day to day operations and documentation of such changes.
  • Process legal items related to customers.
  • Prepare disputes and process adjustments on behalf of bank customers.
  • Assist with administering bank compliance program, specifically deposit and loan regulations.
  • Assist with BSA and OFAC compliance through daily monitoring of customer transaction reports.
  • Assist with bank continuity planning and disaster recovery.
  • Accounts Payable.
  • Other duties, as assigned.



POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Project management skills a definite plus.
  • Collaborative and professional team player with excellent interpersonal and written skills.
  • Creative problem solving skills should be innate to this individual along with strong detail orientation and exceptional proven follow-up skills.
  • Ability to comprehend simple to complex instructions, correspondence, and memos, and compose follow-up correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain organization of work and accuracy of records.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines efficiently and accurately.
  • Maintain a high regard for confidential and sensitive information.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent education and/ or experience.
  • 1+ years of accounting, bookkeeping and/ or banking experience.
  • Proficient with computers, including Microsoft Windows- Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Use of FIS, including BIC report writing and Connections relay reports preferred.
