Job Description | Assistant Project Manager

 

 The Inland Group specializes in high density residential development and construction. We are actively developing and constructing multifamily housing projects throughout the Western United States.

 We are currently seeking qualified candidates to fill an Assistant Project Manager role in the Pacific Northwest.

 The summary of the position is to provide on-site coordination for all phases of Multi-Family construction projects, including coordinating subcontractors, material and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being strictly followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget.

Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities:

  • Assist Project Manager with the following:
    • Pre-development input on proposed projects and budgets.
    • Bid procurement, budget, schedule, and buy out start to finish.
    • Review and approve all subcontractor submittals including references and quotes.
    • Maintain weekly status reports for projects.
    • Create and maintain site logistics plan.
    • Manage invitations to bid for individual projects.
    • Review and manage RFI’s and submittals.
    • Responsible for as built maintenance.
    • Maintain historic cost and schedule analysis.

 Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management and experience with Multi-Family construction, specifically wood framed projects preferred.
  • Complete knowledge of plan reading, shop drawing review and specification review.
  • Experience with schedule management software and CPM creation.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Project, Excel, Word and Blue Beam.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

 Compensation:

  • Salary: DOE
  • Performance review annually every 12 months. Merit increases and bonus possible upon review.
  • Auto Reimbursement: paid but dependent on job location.
