Serve as the primary liaison between Career Services and employment partners who would like to collaborate with and hire Loyola students. Responsible for all matters related to external outreach, technology platform education and navigation for employers, and all facets of customer service and relationship building. Work directly with students and alumni to connect them with potential employers and educate them on industry trends and expectations. This position will be responsible for conducting group presentations and job preparedness education modules. Assists with the administration of the Career Center in the absence of senior leaders.
Oversee the Career Services Sponsorship Program, in collaboration with Alumni Engagement and
ALANA Services. This is a one-on-one matching program that pairs one protg, an undergraduate student, with one sponsor, a Loyola University Maryland alum, for one semester. The goal of this program is to offer undergraduate students a semester of positive experiences and enrichment which will include professional development and networking opportunities, one-on-one sessions and communication with a sponsor, and group sessions with all program participants
Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
1-3 years relevant work experience.
Be able to work well independently or within a team.
Strong computer skills and willingness to learn new systems.
Excellent written and oral communication skills and presentation skills.
Demonstrated creativity, resourcefulness, initiative, attention to detail, and superior time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects at once.
Multicultural awareness and demonstrated ability in fostering an inclusive climate for students, employers, and all campus colleagues.
Flexibility to work some evening and weekend hours is required based on the academic calendar, department event schedule, and needs of the University.
