Standard is seeking a creative, organized, enthusiastic and welcoming individual to join our L.A. office to assist with a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Reporting to the Executive Assistant, the administrative assistant will be the first point of contact for our office welcoming guests and greeting staff. You will also be working with the accounting team on ad hoc tasks. You should be a thorough and detail-oriented multi-tasker with a passion for creative, entrepreneurial environments. This role is expected to be onsite Monday to Friday with selected work from home (WFH) privileges.

What You Can Expect to Do

  • Assist in boardroom set ups for client meetings
  • Answering phone calls in a polite and professional manner
  • Schedule meetings in the conference room for staff
  • Guest bookings Advising security, organizing valet
  • Unpacking packages and storing in kitchen
  • Managing valet voucher orders
  • Utilize your creative skills by assisting in the re-design of the kitchen and yoga room
  • Assisting in lunch orders / pick-ups and clean ups after
  • Exercise your people skills by helping organize team lunches, community gatherings, company events, and staff celebrations
  • Scanning mail documents and disbursing to the right recipients
  • Assist with visiting employee security training for LA location access
  • Perform mail, FedEx, and online storage duties
  • Scheduling redeliveries
  • Getting the mail and sorting it
  • Filing payment records

What You Should Have

  • 0-3years of relevant work experience
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ambition, a strong desire to learn, to achieve, to advance your career
  • A strong interest in real estate and doing good in the world
  • Organizational skills: the ability to manage your time, focus and communicate with clarity
  • A sense of urgency, an internal clock that helps you move with purpose
  • Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
