Samuels and Son Seafood, the nations leading purveyor of fresh and frozen seafood, has unique and exciting opportunity for a Administrative Assistant for our Credit and Collections Department.
The Administrative Assistant of the Credit and Collections department will perform administrative duties related to the operations of the department.
Responsibilities:
- Answers and directs departmental phone calls
- Receives and distributes office mail
- Proofreads and types documents and correspondence produced by department
- Assist in resolving customer issues concerning billing
- Monitor accounts receivable and identify overdue accounts
- Maintain records in regards to contact with delinquent customers as well as payments collected.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required:
- Proficient in MS Office suite or similar software
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to operate general office equipment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excels in a fast-paced environment
- High School diploma or equivalent
