The Tuck School's academic coordinator team provides essential and valued administrative and technical support to our world-class faculty. The manager hires, trains, and supervises approximately 12 full-time academic coordinators and, with input from the team and faculty, sets and strengthens the standards for the services they provide. In addition, the manager administers the class scribe and the teaching assistant programs. This role is ideally suited for an outstanding administrative support supervisor who loves building and leading high performing teams. Manages the academic coordinator team, which provides faculty with administrative and learning management system support, as well as administers the class scribe and teaching assistant programs according to Tuck's mission, strategy, and institutional priorities.

Key Accountabilities

Key Accountabilities

1. Envisions, articulates, and implements overall plan for achieving academic support goals, priorities, and service standards; engages with deans' office, faculty, and other professional staff colleagues to identify and surpass academic support challenges; evaluates progress using data analytics, particularly feedback from faculty and students; and updates goals, priorities, and service standards with direction from academic operations leadership. (5%)
2. Conceptualizes, defines, and applies operating guidelines and service delivery standards for academic coordinators (who provide administrative and learning management system support to faculty) and class scribes (who record MBA class attendance and student participation) (15%); assigns academic coordinators, class scribes, and teaching assistants according to faculty support resource needs (10%); examines and resolves service delivery disruptions and other escalated issues (20%); reviews, approves, and oversees academic coordinator team projects and events (5%); and completes other tasks and assignments associated with achieving academic support priorities (5%).
3. Contributes ideas, input, and support to initiatives, decisions, and communications with academic support implications. (5%)
4. Collaborates with Tuck and Dartmouth colleagues to organize, manage, and complete shared projects and assignments. (10%)
5. Gains knowledge of and shares insights into pertinent trends and innovations through peer school and other market research, participation in peer networks and associations, and attending conferences, seminars, and speaking engagements. (5%)
6. Hires and supervises academic coordinators and class scribes; determines their key accountabilities, provides coaching, and nurtures their learning and skill development (20%).
